I enjoy this quote by children's author Margaret Wise Brown. It sends an underlying message to enjoy what is around you but above all, enjoy being who YOU are. This is a great message for children especially ELL's so they can embrace new challenges but cherish who they are are where they come from.


Grammar Point: Usage of the word "and."
Task: Write a poem beginning with the word "and" in at least one sentence as well as using it as a means to list a set of items.
